Naruto x Itachi. Hilarious, yet intense. I love the spontaneity in this, and the idea that these two very different people might be found bumping shoulders in your run-of-the-mill bar.

Soothing Darkness by Cepheus(StarsOfYaoi)

genre: romance?
warnings: yaoi, lemon
status: WIP

Itachi x Naruto. Very erotic collection of one-shots featuring these two. I’m not sure if the author meant them to be separate stories, but at the moment, they seem to be continuing upon the same storyline; each chapter offers a flash of insight into the motivations behind their actions and their dark, consuming mutual need. The two current chapters are tinged dark and have quite the sensuous feel to them. Though somewhat raw at times, I think this can still be considered tastefully written. This is not for kiddies~

Putting the “Ass” in Assignment by Joe Fenton

That’s right. A Ranma 1/2 x Harry Potter crossover. This is one hilarious bit of insight into how things really work in Nerima. The story takes place right at the end of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and plants Harry and the others right in the center of Martial Arts madness. The author does a great job of meshing the two worlds together, and I really enjoy watching authors make odd crossovers work.

A Stranger in an Unholy Land by serpant-sorcerer

genre: adventure/mystery
warnings: spoilers for books 1-5

This is a unique take on the “Harry ends up in a parallel universe” ploy, and plays out what would happen if Harry were to find himself in the position of Voldemort’s right-hand man. For one thing, the plot is very unique and interesting, and the author manages to ‘keep things real’, for a lack of better words. It’s all very well written; the characterization is believable and the emotions feel real. What I like the most is how the author takes responsibility for his/her characterization of Harry. Many authors seem to take this kind of plot as an excuse to suddenly change Harry’s personality without any explanation or development. Serpant-sorcerer has already started a sequel to this, and plans on writing a trilogy.

This just goes to show what happens when you mess with Count D, especially when it has to do with one Leon Orcot. Very nicely IC with a dash of morbid humor.

Make A Wish by Rorschach’s Blot

genre: adventure/humor

A hilarious story spoofing on the whole idea of the “Make A Wish” foundation for terminally ill children. Harry, who feels as if he won’t survive his encounter with Voldemort, decides to go off to see the world and enjoy what’s left of his childhood. Along the way, he unknowingly starts a chain of events marking the start of a brand new saga and the birth of a legend. Absolutely hilarious.

Tom/Harry. In this story, Tom takes Harry captive and slowly seduces him over to the dark side in more ways than one. However, he soon discovers that something much deeper and ancient runs between the two. Harry’s descent into darkness and Tom’s subsequent rediscovery of his humanity. The two are led away from light and dark to meet somewhere in the middle in preparation for the next revolution of the wizarding world.

Remus/Ginny. Ginny offers to take Remus’ monthly dose of wolfsbane to him, but ends up in a sticky situation when his instinct takes over so close to his transformation. A very very hot one-shot.

Charlie x Willy Wonka. This is one of those stories that so perfectly captures the uncertainty, the beauty, and the complex nature of love. There is also the sense of passing into adulthood, and the changes wrought from such. The author has done a great job in staying true to the characters, and their intricate dance of courtship melts my heart; this story just feels so real.
