Hotel Osaka by Jaelle
warnings: reference to adult situations
The entire Seigaku team stays at a hotel and Ryoma is decidedly not too pleased with his room, and isn’t afraid to let his sempai know it.

Ryoma-sempai by Jaelle
genre: drama, one-shot
This fic takes a look at Kaidou’s younger brother, and how he feels when he enters middle school and joins the Seigaku Tennis club. Someone’s got a beef with the tennis prodigy…
I love this author and how they manage to capture the characters so well. Also, I think I have personally always wondered how Ryoma would grow up and mature… or not. This gives us a little bit of insight into the year after the dream team.
Focus by Sweedy-sama
warnings: Yaoi, Lemon
Tezuka/Ryoma. For me, this was the story that converted me permanently to this pairing. It was really ingenious, the way Sweedy brings the two of them into a relationship, having started from scratch; they slowly discover their feelings for each other in the clumsy, adorable way you would expect from young teens. Because of that, it feels so much more realistic and meaningful than a lot of the other shallow relationships portrayed in POT fanfiction, which stem from lack of, or poor, character development. Personally, my favorite part in a yaoi romance is the initial stages of realization, that transition from platonic to something more, and in essence, taking it directly from the canon and slowly building on top of it. This story was an absolute treat to read.
